Developed in the 1960’s, the Ford Drive area is a well-established neighbourhood located in the southeast corner of Oakville. The ford community is known for its mature, statuesque trees, abundance of parks, and notable schools. The Ford community offers a balance of a traditional community with its historic heritage homes; mainly detached homes ranging from traditional style bungalows and two storey homes to stunning lakefront properties and custom-built residences. The boundaries are Winston Churchill Blvd to the East, Maple Grove Dr. to the West, Cornwall Rd on the North and Lake Ontario on the South. There are only single, detached family homes here ranging mostly from 30-60 years old. These homes are either starting to go through extensive renovations or are being bought, knocked down and rebuilt to modern standards.

More affordable than the other areas of South East Oakville, Ford offers single family homes starting around $950,000 however the prices continue to climb and can be upwards of $4,000,000 for a newly built luxury home.
